Our Team
With over 30 years in the title industry, April McDowell brings a wealth of experience to the real estate closing sector. Her commitment to excellence and depth of experience reflect her passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of real estate transactions. Each client and each transaction are unique requiring an individualized approach to each closing.
April also prioritizes spending time with her family – her husband Brent, her kids and their spouses Austin, Murphee, Alex, Mattie, and her three loyal dogs, Charlie, Rico, and River. Outside of her professional life, creating lasting memories with her family is most important to her.
April and her family are lifelong Memphians. When she’s not surrounded by her family or immersed in her career, April is always supporting the University of Memphis Tigers and the Memphis Grizzlies. Her enthusiasm for the teams underscores her belief in balancing work with personal passions, showcasing that a fulfilling life is rooted in both professional achievement and cherished relationships.
With 10 years of experience in all steps of the closing process, Constance brings with her the skills of a one woman closing team! Thanks to her focus on customer service, and her detail-oriented nature she’s able to forge lasting connections with her clients. She prides herself in her communication skills, making sure every client is informed on each step of their closing process, and assuring them their files are in capable hands.
When at home, Constance enjoys spending time with her loving family, including her three children: Prestyn, Lily, and Brooks. As proud Memphians Constance and her family love attending Memphis football and basketball games and of course, supporting the Grizzlies wherever they go. In her free time she loves to read mysteries and psychological thrillers, and catch up on the latest horror movies and true crime dramas. After the hard work is handled and she can find a moment to get away, you can expect to find her hanging out with friends at the lake, or lounging by the pool with a good book.
Jenny Martinez is a pre-closer at River City Title & Escrow. She started her career in title and escrow in 2001 where she gained a strong foundation in real estate law, working with many lenders and realtors from all over the south. Once she felt seasoned in her craft, she landed a job as a loan processor and eventually was promoted to a licensed Loan Originators Assistant. Jenny spent 12 years working on a high production lending team that closed over 250 to 300 loans a year. This was a time of growth and an experience that changed the direction of her career to encompass the closing and title side of the transaction. This was a smooth transition since the two industries work so close together in the closing and funding process. As the teams pre-closer Jenny ensures the buyer, seller, and agent are updated throughout the process, and the properties title is clear and ready to close.
Jenny finds great joy in spending time with her husband Brian and rescued dog Billy Ray Valentine. She loves to spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking, and has a newfound passion for Korean food. Outside of the office her favorite hobbies include: watching old movies, reading, swimming, and working in the yard.
Alex is an enthusiastic newcomer to real estate closing, bringing with them a plethora of experience in customer service and project management. They look forward to this new venture and meeting customers on the ground-level, making sure each case gets the time and care it deserves.
A native Memphian, Alex lives in East Memphis with their wonderful husband, Austin, and two adorable cats, Zen and Fiona. When not at work Alex spends their time looking for fun local events to experience with their friends, and supporting the ever-growing spiritual community here in Memphis. When at home Alex is an avid gamer, and can often be found surrounded by loved ones playing Dungeons & Dragons or other tabletop games. They view life as one big story that is best written with passion and kindness.
